Just heard an unusual aircraft sound, which was getting very close/loud. So I looked out the window to briefly see 2 or 3 vintage WWII planes about 1000 ft directly over my house. Fairly tight formation.

Haven’t heard of any more coordinated flyovers (a quick Google search revealed nothing). Here’s what popped up on FlightRadar24

Only shows one plane , but there was definitely more than one that went over.

A bit of a ‘Final Countdown’ moment.....all part of the ‘ Corona Project’.

FlightAware has a better view of the route, which looks like it started at a small airfield in Somerset . Strange that he flew over nearly every airport....Newark, Teterboro, LaGuardia, JFK.
